The busy Bandar Seri Alam

Finally I have a chance to visit the business centre of Masai, Bandar Seri Alam, in a working weekday. As expected, the traffic condition is chaotic! Mainly this is because of the banks and the limited car parks along the small road.

Hopefully, when the new blocks with ample car park is open in early next year, the situation will be better.

Bus Terminal, Masai

Most of the buses travels between Bandar Masai and the centre of Johor Bahru. Some buses also serve the route between the town and Pasir Gudang and Kota Tinggi.
Located at the heart of the town, the bus terminal is arguably the landmark building here.

Yos Saver Store, Masai

Not as famous as Tesco or KIP-Mart, YOS Saver Store quietly runs it business at a relatively remote area in the town.
It is located at the area behind Indah Super Market.

Indah (英大) Shopping Center (Emporium), Masai

Probably the first ever supermarket in Masai. The Indah Supermarket has been around in the town for more than a good 30 years!! At that time, the word "Emporium" was a buzz word. Tesco or Jusco were unheard at that time.

It is located right opposite the Bus Terminal, Masai.

Kip-Mart, Masai

The Kip-Mart is another hyper-market found in the Bandar Masai. Located at the east side of the town, the superstore provides daily necessities and groceries to the residents here.

As you can see, some shophouses are built in the surrounding area of Kip-Mart. The existing of this hypermarket definitely develops the town and creates more business opportunities.

Holiday Plaza, Masai

I am not sure whether this Holiday Plaza is related to the famous Holiday Plaza in JB. But the size and the business are totally outclassed by the latter.
It is located right opposite the Kip-Mart supermarket, at the east side of Bandar Masai, toward the Pasir Gudang direction
